Welcome to Kathmandu!
Start your Nepal adventure with a warmly welcome meeting at 6 p.m (Nepal time). There you will meet your tour guide and get to know your new travel companies. If you don’t know where the meeting takes place, feel free to ask the hotel reception or find a note in the lobby of the hotel. If you arrive earlier than this time, there are a lot of activities for you to do in this bustling capital city. One of the most worth-visiting spots is Swayambhunath Stupa. After Swayambhunath Stupa, you can pay a visit to the “City Of Devotees” – Bhaktapur.
After the meeting, you and your pals should enjoy dinner together to get to know more about each other before starting the trip.
Day 2: Trisuli River (B, L, D)
In the morning, it’s best to enjoy a drive over the Kathmandu Valley’s rim and witness the stunning views of the Lantang and Ganesh ranges. For some rafting on the Trisuli River, you will go to either Galaudi or Baireni. Rafting along the Trisuli River is a wonderful opportunity to witness the diverse landscapes, culture heritage, animals and plants. If this is your very first time to experience rafters, Trisuli is more than suitable for you since it has breath-taking valleys, mysterious gorges, easy sections and reasonable time.
However, in the monsoon, riding in the Trisuli River is a little more challenging since its strong rapids and whirlpools. This will make your rafting more fun and challenging as you will experience a mixture of pleasant calm water and repeated rapids.
In the evening, we will camp on the beach, and lie under a thousand sparkling stars.
Day 3: Trisuli River – Pokhara
In the morning, we have fun on the river a little by negotiating the Upset and Monsoon. In the late morning, our rafting will end at Kurintar. After enjoying a light meal, we will head to Pokhara to recharge our batteries after rafting, since Pokhara is famous for its extraordinary sceneries, exciting activities, great accommodation as well as amazing food choices. Witness stunning sunset glowing while chilling out at the cafes on the lakeside.
Day 4: Ghandruk (1950m)
To continue your Nepal trip, we will drive from Pokhara to Nayapul, the “new bridge”, which takes about 1 hour. Hope climbing boots have already been prepared because this is where we start trekking. We have to cross a dirt track to get to Birethanti and Shyauli villages. When we reach a stone staircase up to Kimche, you will stop for a while for lunch. Going through the fields of wheat to reach Ghandruk, there will be flagstones to lead you.
Tonight, you will stay at a Nepali teahouse.
Day 5: Tolkha (1700m)
On your East-side is Landruk. The Modi Kola River is 600 meters below. You will trek to Tolkha, which is your base for the night. Start with a mountainous view for breakfast, then trek towards Tolkha to reach the next teahouse stay. On the way, you will have the chance to enjoy the wonderful, majestic mountain view.
Day 6: Hemjakot (1530m)
Today, you will trek to Hemjakot, an alluring, beautiful village.
Have you ever seen a lot of Rhododendron? If not, today is undoubtedly an amazing day for you, since today, you will have the one-of-a-kind experience of trekking among these pink and purple flowers blooming.
Tonight, you will stay with a Nepali local family. The rooms seem small but they are really clean and comfortable. Prepare a warm and big smile and you will definitely receive bigger and warmer ones.
Day 7: Pokhara
You will have to climb down a little, for about 3 hours and we will reach the public bus stop to go back to Pokhara right at lunchtime.
The time in the afternoon is all yours, and you can use this time to explore things in Pokhara which you didn’t for the first time here.
Taking a rowboat out of Phewa Lake is highly recommend. If the sky is clear and blue, you will see the mountain view for miles. Enjoying a lakeside café is also highly recommended since nothing is better than chilling out and chatting with others after a long trek.
Day 8: Kathmandu
Remember to bring something to eat as we will have a long bus back to Kathmandu. No accommodation is included today, and you will be free to depart at any suitable time after arriving in Kathmandu. Thank you for choosing us. Wish that we could serve you next time when it comes to other Nepal vacation packages.
